পহেলা বৈশাখ বাঙালির জীবনে এক আনন্দময় নতুন সূচনার দিন। এই দিনে সবাই পুরনো দুঃখ-কষ্ট ভুলে নতুন আশায় জীবন শুরু করার প্রতিজ্ঞা করে। ঘরে ঘরে আলপনা, নতুন পোশাক, মিষ্টি আর পান্তা-ইলিশের আয়োজন থাকে। পরিবার ও বন্ধুদের সঙ্গে শুভেচ্ছা বিনিময় করে সবাই বলে— “শুভ নববর্ষ”। গান, নাচ আর আনন্দের মাধ্যমে বাঙালির ঐতিহ্য ও সংস্কৃতি এই দিনে নতুন করে প্রাণ ফিরে পায়।

Pohela Boishakh marks the Bengali New Year and is celebrated as a joyful beginning of a new chapter in life. On this day, people forget past sorrows and welcome the year with hope and positivity. Homes are decorated, people wear new clothes, and traditional foods like sweets and panta-ilish are enjoyed. Families and friends greet each other with “Shubho Noboborsho”. Through music, dance, and festivities, the rich culture and heritage of Bengal come alive once again. 🎉
